Brooksby College How to Apply

Complete your online application or apply via PS16. You can apply via PS16 if you are studying in Year 11 at a Leicester or Leicestershire school that is using the PS16 system.

Once you make an application, we’ll invite you to an Applicant event. You will need to attend one of these events in order to receive a course offer.

Once you have accepted your course offer, you will be invited to log in and attend an Pre-programme Experience taster event in late June/early July 2026

Finally you will be invited to complete your Online/Digital Registration in early August. You will need to provide us with your GCSE grades on or soon after the national results day (Thursday 20th August 2026). Following this you will be invited to an enrolment session where one of the tutors from your chosen programme area will complete the Sign up process for the appropriate course and level of study with Loughborough College.

All applications for full-time HNDs, Foundation Degrees, BSc/BA (Hons) and Top-Up degrees must be made via UCAS. The Institution code for Loughborough College is L77. The application process may vary for Non-UK residents.

Once you have submitted your application, UCAS/Loughborough College will send you a message confirming receipt. You will also receive a message from UCAS with details of how to monitor your application using UCAS Track.

We’ll reply to your application and if you are successful we will make you an offer. This step may vary for international students.

We will inform you of our decision via UCAS Track and by post:
Conditional Offer (C) - the offer of a place at Loughborough College is subject to you achieving certain exam results.
Unconditional Offer (U) - the offer of a place is not subject to achieving any further exam results.

You can apply for our degrees via UCAS or directly through Loughborough College. How to apply will depend on the course you choose. The apply button on each course page will take you through to the correct application method. The application process may vary for Non-UK residents.

Search for vacancies
Visit our Apprenticeship Vacancies page to see what opportunities are currently available. When you find a role that suits you, click Apply and you’ll be directed to the official GOV.uk website to complete your application.

Application review
Once submitted, your application will be reviewed by our Apprenticeship Recruitment Team.

Initial call
If your application is shortlisted, we’ll give you a call to have a quick chat, discuss your application, and collect any extra details needed.

Employer review
After confirming your eligibility, we’ll share your application with the employer. If you fit the criteria for the role, you’ll be invited to attend an interview with them.

Interview outcome
If you’re successful at the interview, you’ll agree a start date with the employer. At this point, we’ll begin preparing for your enrolment.

Enrolment and start
Your enrolment will be completed with us, and your Apprenticeship journey will officially begin.

Your details will then be passed on to the course leader to take forward. Some courses may require an assessment or interview prior to enrolment.

If your application is successful you will be sent information on how to enrol.
